Accuris Smart-Q Fluorometers
Accuris Quantification Kits are designed for accurate fluorescent quantification of dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA using popular fluorometer instruments such as the Qubit®, Accuris Smart-Q™, Accuris SmartDrop™ XF, and fluorescent microplate readers. The included fluorescent dyes are highly selective for the target molecule of interest and quantification results are minimally affected by contaminants such as salts, proteins or solvents.
Included with each kit are the fluorescent assay reagent + buffer, and ready-to-use DNA standards. Easy-to-follow protocols are included with each kit explaining how to prepare the reagents and standards and to quantify unknown samples. Nucleic acid concentrations are quickly determined using an appropriate fluorometer instrument that utilizes blue excitation (460 ± 20 nm) and measures green fluorescence (525-570 nm).
Accuris High Sensitivity Kits provide an accurate method to quantify low concentration dsDNA samples. The assay kit is accurate for initial DNA sample concentrations of 0.005–120 ng/µl, providing a detection range of 0.1–120 ng. A convenient 1X version of this kit includes a pre-mixed fluorescent working solution to save on pipetting steps and to ensure consistent results.
The Accuris Broad Range Kits provide an accurate method to quantify dsDNA samples that have a broad concentration range starting at 0.2 ng/µL. The assay kit is accurate for initial DNA sample concentrations of 0.2 to 2,000 ng/µL, providing a detection range of 4−2,000 ng. A convenient 1X version of this kit includes a pre-mixed fluorescent working solution to save on pipetting steps and to ensure consistent results.
The Accuris ssDNA Kit provides a simple and accurate method for quantifying single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) or oligonucleotides. While the kit is not selective for ssDNA over double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) or RNA, it does not detect contaminating proteins or nucleotides. Additionally, the kit demonstrates insensitivity to low concentrations of common contaminants such as proteins, salts, solvents, and detergents.
The Accuris RNA High Sensitivity Quantification Kit offers a reliable and accurate method for measuring RNA concentration. This assay is highly selective for RNA over double-stranded and single-stranded DNA and can detect RNA concentrations ranging from 100 pg/μL to 100 ng/μL.
The Accuris RNA Broad Range Quantification Kit enables precise and reliable RNA quantification. This assay exhibits high specificity for RNA over single-stranded and double-stranded DNA (see figure below), allowing for the detection of RNA concentrations ranging from 1 ng/μL to 1000 ng/μL. This assay demonstrates robustness against common contaminants, including proteins, free nucleotides, salts, solvents, and detergents.
